Description of the day

Enjoy a wonderful introduction to the highlights of Taormina with your local expert guide. From your hotel, you can enjoy a leisurely drive to Taormina. Once you have arrived you will visit the most panoramic square, the " Belvedere square " with its unique breathtaking view over the Messina coastline and all the Taormina bays, the Catania coastline and our volcano Etna.
You will then be driven to the charming medieval village of Castelmola, just above Taormina where will be able to stroll several narrow, picturesque streets with wonderful sea and Etna views.
We can also visit the antique 13th century Arab castle, situated on the highest and most panoramic spots in the area.
You will then be taken to the historical centre of Taormina where a private cooking class in the well-known local restaurant, will be organized for you.
Before starting, you will be taken to the historical centre of Taormina 's
Local market with your chef and translator to buy all the ingredients necessary to cook.
You will cook Sicilian dishes in the restaurant 's kitchen that is situated on a terrace.
You will learn to make " maccheroni " pasta, fish and other dishes that you desire.
You will have lunch, including drinks and a selection of wine.
You will be then taken back to your hotel at your convenience.
