Excursion to Mt. Etna and Sicilian wine tasting

The offer includes:

Minimum stay of 3 nights with buffet breakfast included;

You will be picked up from your hotel at a convenient time in the morning, and drive to Mt Etna through several Sicilian towns (Santa Venerina, Zafferana) and visit some old lava flows on the way. During the ascent, different kinds of vegetation can be noted. You will reach 2000 metres (7,000 ft) where you will then visit the "Silvestri" craters (1986) , the latest new lava flows and enjoy the desert moon atmosphere along the way. You will stop and visit a local family farm where it is possible to taste local Etna wine, a selection of natural honey (orange, lemon, eucalyptus, strawberry), almond pastries, olives, extra virgin olive oil. You will then take a road called " Mare/Neve to get to one of the most renowned vineyards " Gambino " where it is possible to tour the wonderful property overlooking the sea and the volcano and taste our well known Etna wines combined with light cold dishes.
